Welcome to Helix Charter High School
Helix Welcomes a New Executive Director
The Helix Charter Board is pleased to announce the hiring of Rani Goyal as the school's new Executive Director. Ms. Goyal comes to Helix with 19 years of experience in education: eight years in the classroom and 11 years in administration, six of which were as a principal. Most recently, she was the principal of Temecula Valley High School, a school similar to Helix in total enrollment. She has exhibited excellence in the areas of leadership, student achievement, and community involvement throughout her career.
Part of Ms. Goyal's administrative experience includes time as the founding principal of a charter high school in the San Jose area. Through this, she gained a strong understanding of the laws, finances, and governance of charter schools. Her vision for education is an excellent match with the vision the Helix community has come to highly value. Ms. Goyal will join the staff full-time on Sept. 7; until that time, Dr. David Hughes will continue to serve as the interim Executive Director. We hope you will join us in welcoming Ms. Goyal to Helix Charter High School.
